What is infrared thermography?

Infrared Thermography is a form of non-contact, non-destructive testing, utilized to detect and document thermal patterns and associated temperatures across an object.

Unlike our eyes a thermography camera works in the infrared part of the spectrum. Infrared energy is associated with heat, and all objects above absolute zero emit energy in this part of the spectrum. Hotter objects simply emit more energy than cold objects. A thermography camera is device that converts invisible infrared energy into a visible image.

An Infrared Thermography inspection can help to identify hot spots and thermal distribution of your building, circuitry board or mechanical machinery. Thus, a predictive maintenance program, which includes Infrared Thermography, can help reduce overall maintenance costs and unscheduled downtime.

What we do for our customers?

Multi Maintenance Solution’s IR thermography inspection services provide customers with the convenience and quality of an IR inspections program that is executed utilizing industry best practices. The IR thermography inspection services are designed to provide companies with the many benefits of the state-of-art technology tool without investment in costly equipment, additional training and personnel.

An Infrared Thermography inspection can help to identify hot spots and thermal distribution of your building, circuitry board or mechanical machinery. Thus, a predictive maintenance program, which includes Infrared Thermography, can help reduce overall maintenance costs and unscheduled downtime.

Our expertise and experience allow us to accurately detect malfunctions, variations and problems that are due to temperature distribution. Spikes in temperature can indicate critical failures. With the use of IR Thermography technology, we can detect and remedy problems before they develop into bigger and more costly issues.

It is time consuming and difficult to accurately map and detect temperature distribution on your equipment visually. Viewing a temperature distribution through the lens of the Infrared Thermography Camera allows us to observe potential problems that cannot be seen with a visually inspection.

When to apply an infrared thermography?

• Prior to Final Acceptance or Hand-over of new commissioning plant.
• Before the existing OEM equipments warranty expires
• Before the existing plant’s fire insurance premium expires
• For early detection of problems in order to prevent from catastrophic failure or disastrous losses

• Technicians on vacation
• Before preparing your budget request for next schedule shutdown
• Setting up a new PdM program
